1. Scope
These terms apply to the Android app MentalDeload Home. Purchases made through Google Play are also subject to the Google Play terms shown at purchase. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
2. Accounts and local use
The local Free version works without an account. A Google/Firebase account is required for online backup, sync, and shared households. The intended product is for adult users. Household administration follows the roles and permissions available in the installed test build. Login credentials must not be shared or misused.
3. Plans and benefits
- Free: local organization without an account; no online backup or cloud sync.
- Home Start: backup, own-device and household sync, invitations, restore, assistants, imports, cloud attachments, place search, and enabled AI features. Up to 4 connected devices, 500 MiB of cloud attachment storage, and 180 included credits per monthly allowance period.
- Home Family: the same features with up to 12 devices, 3 GiB of cloud attachment storage, and 400 included credits per monthly allowance period.
- Home Max: the same features with up to 30 devices, 10 GiB of cloud attachment storage, and 500 included credits per monthly allowance period.
Allowances apply to the household, not each member. Storage is for cloud attachments, not a cap on all planning records. Feature availability may vary by app version, region, device, and rollout. The app identifies benefits enabled for the selected plan before purchase.
4. Household entitlement
A verified Start, Family, or Max subscription held by the household owner unlocks the plan for the connected household. Invited members need no second purchase; joining with a valid invitation code requires no separate purchase. Inherited access can end when a member leaves, changes, or dissolves a household.
5. Purchase, price, and duration
Monthly and yearly subscriptions and optional credit packs are sold through Google Play. Before purchase, Google Play displays the applicable total price, taxes, and, for subscriptions, the billing period and any offer. Those details and the receipt control. This website does not sell subscriptions directly.
6. Renewal and cancellation
A Google Play subscription renews according to the billing period shown at checkout until cancelled. Manage or cancel it under Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. After cancellation, paid access generally continues until the end of the paid period.
Important: Uninstalling the app or deleting a MentalDeload Home account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancelling a subscription does not automatically delete an account or its data.
7. Credits and additional packs
Included credits refresh monthly, including on yearly subscriptions. Unused included credits do not roll over. They form a shared household allowance for metered provider requests such as AI, place search, and drive times. The credit balance is visible in the app; costs per provider action are set and validated by the server; a failed request may end without a charge, while an already started provider request can consume credits.
Optional Google Play packs contain 300, 750, or 1,600 credits. Purchased credits are not reset at the monthly boundary but require an active online plan for use. Refunds and chargebacks can adjust the associated balance. Credits are not cash and cannot be redeemed for money; statutory rights remain unaffected.
8. Refunds and withdrawal rights
Refunds, withdrawal rights, and payment processing are governed by the Google Play terms shown at purchase and applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits statutory rights. Contact MentalDeload about the app; Google Play may also be responsible for payment processing questions.
9. Your content and shared households
You are responsible for content you create or share with household members. Do not share unlawful content or another person's data without sufficient authority. Members of a shared household can view and edit household content made available to them.
10. AI, maps, and external services
Results from enabled external maps, speech, or AI services may be incomplete or wrong. Verify important information. The app is not a substitute for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. The Privacy Policy describes the providers and data flows.
11. Availability and changes
I aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of external services. Security, compatibility, or legal changes may require adjustments. Material adverse changes to paid benefits will not be presented retroactively as already delivered. Mandatory warranty and liability rights remain unaffected.
12. Account deletion and privacy
See Delete account for deletion steps and consequences. The Privacy Policy explains personal-data processing.
13. Consumer dispute resolution
I am neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. The former EU Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued on July 20, 2025.
14. Governing law
German law applies. If you are a consumer living in another country, mandatory protections of your country of residence remain unaffected.
