Delete your account
App: MentalDeload Home
Developer: MentalDeload (Riccardo Riedl)
Email: mentaldeload@gmail.com
Use this page to request deletion of your MentalDeload Home account and associated cloud data without reinstalling the app. This is the web resource referenced for Google Play Data safety / account deletion.
Option 1 — In the app (fastest)
- Open MentalDeload Home
- Go to App settings → Data & privacy to permanently delete your account and data
- Or open Manage family → Online backup to sign out or end online backup
Sign out
Choose This device → Sign out. Only this device is signed out. Local data and online data remain. This is not account deletion.
End online backup (keep local data)
Choose End online backup and confirm with Delete online data and keep working locally. This permanently deletes your online account and online data, converts this device to local-only use, and keeps household content already on the device.
If you are a member of a shared home, your connection and online account are removed. The shared home remains for the others. Data already on this device stays.
If you manage a shared home with other linked members, you must transfer the home first. The app takes you to people management.
Delete account and data
In App settings → Data & privacy choose Delete account and data and confirm. This permanently deletes your online account, online data, and the local household data on this device.
Option 2 — Email request (no app required)
Send an email from the address linked to your account to:
Suggested subject: MentalDeload Home account deletion
Include:
- That you want your MentalDeload Home account and cloud data deleted
- The email address of the account (used to verify your identity)
After I verify the request, deletion is completed within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Firebase Authentication account
- Email / user-identifier mapping
- Memberships and personal profile cloud fields
- Kids device bindings for that account
- Solely owned cloud household data
- Play subscription mappings for a solely owned household
- Pending account-linked technical records
- Local data on the device, if you chose “Delete everything” in the app
What may remain
- Google Play purchase / subscription records (held by Google)
- Shared household content for remaining members, without your membership or email linkage (anonymized with respect to your account)
- Data retained only if legally required
Shared household owners
If you are the owner of a household with other linked members, it is recommended to transfer ownership to another adult first. Ownership may also transfer automatically to a remaining member before deletion completes. You are never permanently blocked from deleting your account. If you are the sole owner, the entire household cloud data is deleted. If you are a member (not sole owner), you leave the membership and shared content remains for others.
